Cleaning 101 was created with one simple mission, to help cleaning business owners build profitable, confident and sustainable businesses. When I first started, I didn’t have a roadmap. I worked long days with hardly any work life balance, constantly doubted my pricing, and tried to juggle clients, paperwork and everything in between, often questioning whether I was getting it right.

Over time, I learned how to build proper systems, charge confidently and create structure. I turned a small cleaning business into something stable and successful. Cleaning 101 exists because I’ve been where you are, and I want to make the journey easier for you.

Our Story

I'm Jo, a cleaning business owner with over 15 years of real, hands on experience running domestic, commercial and holiday let cleaning businesses. Alongside running multiple successful cleaning operations, I am also a qualified life coach, which means the support we offer isn’t just practical… it’s mindset focused too!

Confidence matters. Boundaries matter. Believing you can charge properly and run a professional operation matters. That’s why I mentor cleaning business owners in a way that covers both the practical and the personal growth side of running a business.

Why I Started Cleaning 101

Over the years, so many people asked me for advice:

• How do I price properly?
• What paperwork do I actually need?
• When do I hire staff?
• How do I stop feeling overwhelmed?
• How do I grow without burning out?

I saw too many talented cleaners struggling simply because no one had shown them how to run the business side properly. So I decided to create the support I wish more people had access to when they were starting out, including myself.
